Activating the Orbit Card

How to activate your card?

Once you get the orbit card, follow these steps to activate the card:

1. Go to the Home Screen.
2. Select 'Activate Card.'
3. Enter your Kit ID.
4. Enter your PAN or Aadhaar number.
5. Confirm the auto-filled personal details.
6. Verify your address details, or choose 'Add a new address' if you want to change it.
7. Enter the OTP sent to your phone.
8. KYC done!
9. Add the balance in your card, for metro travel add transit balance, for Online purchases, shopping, fuel or parking payment add prepaid balance
10. Make sure to turn enable domestic transactions to start using the card, open the app<>home screen<>click on the three lines on the top left corner<>enable offline transactions, online transactions, contactless payments

Done, Your card is now ready for use!

How to add Prepaid Balance?

Prepaid balance can be used for online purchases, shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, hotel, fuel, or parking etc.

To add the prepaid balance follow these steps:

• Step 1-Open the Orbit Wallet app.
• Step 2-Tap on your Orbit Card from the home screen.
• Step 3-Select 'Add to Card.'
• Step 4- Enter the desired amount and complete the payment.
• Your card is now ready for use!

How to add Transit Balance?

Transit Balance is used for metro travel. To load the Transit balance, follow these steps:

• Step 1- At the metro station, visit the ticket counter, and ask the customer representative to recharge the card
• Step 2- That's it, you can start using your card by tapping the Orbit card on the AFC(Automated fare collection) machines

How to Set PIN?

Follow the below mentioned steps to set the PIN:

• Step 1- Open the app
• Step 2- Go to the home screen
• Step 3- Click on the three lines on the top left corner of the screen
• Step 4- Select 'Set PIN'
• Step 5- Enter card details like Enter last 6 digit card number, and expiry date
• Step 6- enter opt received on your phone number
• Step 7- Enter dob
• Step 8- Enter new Pin and confirm new pin
• You have successfully set the PIN!

Why the PIN is required?

For the transaction above Rs 5,000 PIN is required as per the rules and regulations specified by NPCI
