NPCI mandates that all contactless/dual-interface RuPay payment devices must display the RuPay Contactless Debit Indicator to support contactless payments. Orbit card has this indicator, you can make contactless payments. If it doesn't, you'll need to insert the card and enter your 4-digit PIN to make a payment.
